WE NEED YOUR HELP!
A crime has been committed and Inspector Hylton is in urgent need of young scientist recruits to take on the challenge of solving the mystery in this action packed scientific adventure which will involve visiting the crime scene, taking and analysing evidence obtained at the scene and building a case against possible suspects based on science.
These are just some of the hands-on analytical techniques that new recruits will use:
- Chromatography
- Fingerprint analysis
- Hair/fibre analysis
- Precipitation reactions
- Flame tests
- Extraction of DNA
- Soil analysis
- Gas tests
Using inquiry learning recruits will develop knowledge of scientific concepts to draw conclusions that are consistent with evidence by processing, analysing and interpreting findings.
