One day, One act, One opportunity to perform, direct or help with make-up or lighting!
This One day, One act, One opportunity workshop will appeal to students who enjoy acting or who are keen to experience what it is like to perform or learn other skills such as directing, basic lighting or make-up.
Students will be divided into groups and will go through a typical rehearsal process before having their make-up applied. A technical crew will design the lighting and will have the opportunity to have a technical run prior to the performances near the end of the day.
No experience in any of these areas is required and the final performance will be a work-in-progress.
What students will need to bring: dress in comfortable clothing and bring along your favourite dress up clothes (including shoes, hats etc.) and favourite music.
If you have sensitivities to makeup/facial wipes, please feel free to bring your own.
